Something to think about!

My friend and I were having an interesting conversation with our teacher about human society. So if you don't want to read anything too deep or if you think this is boring you are welcome to ignore it. So think of all our human customs. Why did we start saying hello? I mean did some random caveman just walk up to another caveman and be like "Hello!" Or why did we start doing high-fives and applause when someone did something amazing? Like why do that? Animals don't do it. They simply just sit around and don't bother watching what the other animal is doing. (Unless they plan on eating it) My point being that we have strange customs compared to that of animals. You know I can actually imagine how the whole thing would have played out....
